St Johnstone v Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership

When St Johnstone meet Partick Thistle at Firhill tomorrow in the re-arranged Scottish Premiership fixture it will be only the 10th time that the teams will have met in the various formats of the competition dating back to their first meeting at McDiarmid Park in 1992/93.

The following is a summary of the previous encounters.

P          W          D          L          F           A

5           1            3           1          4           5           McDiarmid Park

4          0            2           2         2            6           Firhill

9          1            5            3         6          11           Totals

As can be seen our record against “The Jags” makes disappointing reading.

The only occasion that Saints have won was in 1993/94 season when a late Philip Scott goal gave Saints a 1 – 0 win.

So lets hope our favourites can record their  first Firhill victory and start to redress the imbalance.
